Meanwhile, Du-sik thinks back to the time when his friend held a service for his grandfather’s death anniversary and about Seon-a. It’s from her parents and the food reminds her of the time Du-sik spent with her family and Hwa-jeong’s words. That day, in Hometown Cha Cha Cha episode 14, Hye-jin comes back to find a package waiting for her. When he asks him whether she’ll be disappointed to know the real him, Seong-hyeon tells him that she will definitely accept him for who he is. The next day, Seong-hyeon gets to know about Du-sik and Hye-jin’s relationship troubles. He stays quiet and Hye-jin leaves disappointed. She asks him whether he has anything to tell him. Du-sik seems heartbroken, and so is Hye-jin. She calls him back and asks him for space – not to break up, but so that he can come to terms with his past and thus share it with her as well.
Meanwhile, Hye-jin wakes up from her nap to find missed calls from Du-sik in Hometown Cha Cha Cha episode 14. On the way, his path crosses Seon-a’s car but neither notice the other.
